1. General principle
Inclusion of material within Neúmen does not automatically transfer ownership of copyright, trademarks, moral rights, databases, designs, archives or other intellectual property.
2. Attribution
Authorship, contribution, institutional responsibility and ownership should be distinguished and attributed according to the applicable record.
3. Licences
Any licence to reproduce, publish, adapt, display, distribute or otherwise use material should identify its scope, duration and applicable conditions where relevant.
4. Submitted material
Submission of material does not grant broader rights than those expressly required for the documented institutional purpose.
5. Third-party material
Where material belongs to a third party, its use should comply with applicable permission, licence, exception or legal basis.
6. Institutional identifiers
Registry codes and institutional classifications identify records and do not by themselves determine ownership of the underlying work.
