1. Purpose

The Archive preserves institutional memory rather than serving only as a repository of old files.

2. Scope

Archival material may include past projects, historical records, institutional documents, photographs, media, correspondence, past recognitions, former participants, historic acts, collections, research archives and annual archives.

3. Provenance

Records should retain information about origin, date, creator or source, related project or person, and any known chain of custody where relevant.

4. Preservation

Records should be preserved in formats and locations appropriate to their significance, legal obligations and practical durability.

5. Access

Archive access may be public, restricted or internal according to privacy, safety, copyright, contractual and legal considerations.

6. Corrections

Historical corrections should be documented without silently destroying the earlier record when preservation of the original is institutionally relevant.
